Incumbent Worker Training grants are available to private-sector businesses operating year-round in Montana for at least one year.

Is your business registered and in good standing with Montana Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Workers' Compensation?

Grant awards are capped at $2,500 per full-time employee and $1,000 per part-time employee.

Has the training already started?

Applications must be submitted and approved before training begins (at least 20 days before the start date is recommended).

Which expenses are included in this grant request?

Grant funds cannot be used to purchase equipment, tools, or capital items.
